Forced Labour

FLE is committed to upholding the highest ethical standards and ensuring the well-being and dignity of all workers, both within our organization and throughout our supply chain. Following this commitment, the company strictly prohibits any form of forced or coerced labour, slavery, trafficking of persons, or other exploitative practices. Workers must be free to terminate their employment at any time and must not be subject to restrictions on their movement or personal liberty.

The company also recognizes the importance of providing clear and transparent communication with workers regarding their terms and conditions of employment. Prior to signing a formal contract, workers must receive written notice in their native language or a language they understand, detailing their employment agreement. Any changes to the contract must be made in a manner that is favourable to the worker, and workers must be informed of any deductions from their salaries.

Recruitment entities or agencies and staffing agents working with the company must adhere to these same principles, including refraining from charging recruitment fees or retaining any government-issued identification or travel documents. The company and its partners are committed to investigating and addressing any instances of recruitment fees or related costs borne by workers and will provide return transportation or pay for the cost of return transportation upon the end of employment.

By adhering to these standards and promoting responsible practices, the company and its partners seek to create a safe, fair, and respectful working environment for all workers.
